Privacy Policy

Who is responsible

What this site itself collects

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party scripts or fonts, and has no contact form. The hosting provider still processes technical access logs as described below.

Server logs

The site is hosted by GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). Like any web host, they record technical access data such as IP address, timestamp, requested file, referrer and browser user agent. This happens at the hosting level and is necessary to serve the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest). See the host's own privacy documentation at GitHub’s general privacy statement.

Payments

Payments are not processed on this site. Clicking a Book button sends you to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., who handle the transaction on their own systems and under their own privacy policy: PayPal’s privacy statement.

Your card details are never seen by, transmitted through, or stored on this site. The payment provider processes the data needed to take payment, issue a receipt and administer the booking — typically your email address, payment details and, where required for tax, your country.

Email

If you write to the address above, your message and address are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. Nothing is added to a mailing list — there isn't one.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and data portability, and you may object to processing. Write to the address above. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in Berlin, the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
